Esther and Steven met while attending law school in Virginia Beach. After a year of dating, Steven popped the question atop Mount Washington in Pittsburgh, PA while riding the Duquesne Incline, a cable car that provides spectacular views of downtown Pittsburgh. "As I was snapping pictures, Steven called my name from behind, and when I turned around, he was on one knee, proposing," recalls Esther. "I was completely surprised and so excited that I forgot to say 'yes!'"

Esther chose a headpiece that dazzled under the lights, and she borrowed diamond earrings from her mom.
Esther chose a gown by Mon Cheri. "It was covered in small jewels and beads, which made me sparkle from top to bottom without being too over-the-top glitzy-glam."
The bride chose simple bouquets to balance the sparkly gowns. Esther's bouquet featured white carnations and pink primroses, and the bridesmaids carried white carnations.
The groom and groomsmen wore traditional tuxedos from Generation Tux.
The couple didn't originally want to have a "first look" before the ceremony, but the logistics pushed them to do it.
The couple exchanged vows inside the museum's atrium, where floor-to-ceiling windows, a skylight, and indoor trees create an "airy, magical atmosphere. It was the perfect backdrop for my winter forest-vibe ceremony," says the bride.
For the bridal party processional, the couple chose "The Winner Is" by Devotchka. The bride walked down the aisle to "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" by Sleeping at Last, and "You Are the Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne played as the couple departed the ceremony.
